The hydraulic system consists of two hydraulic assemblies, one of high pressure and the other of low pressure, that store compressed inert nitrogen gas N2, in addition to one or more hydraulic pump/motor units. In some systems, a hydraulic transformer is used to shift the output flow at any pressure with very little power loss.
